New Writing Exercise #26 devised by Margaret Wilkinson THEME: 7 DEADLY SINS   #1 Choose one sin and imagine it as a person you are interviewing for a magazine. Ask him or her the following questions and use the answers to develop a character in a story or a poem. Do you believe in God? Which words or phrases do you overuse? What’s your idea of perfect happiness? How would you like to die? #2 Imagine each of the seven sins are diseases. Invent a character and send him or her on a quest into the desert (or up a mountain, into outer space, to the depths of the ocean, to the underworld) to discover the antidote for one of these ‘diseases’.
