| Tell us what you're doing – and we'll tell everyone we know Mslexia can publicise your event, your workshop, your competition, your venue, your group... This is a free listings service. We are interested in all events with a literature component (readings, book launches, performances, signings, conferences, slams, workshops, courses, cross-art events... however small). We also list writing competitions, courses or retreats and calls for submissions. You can tell other writers what you are up to by clicking the relevant link (right) and filling in a form, or by 'phoning the office on 0191 261 6656 and speaking to our listings editor Wendy Macdonald. PLEASE NOTE: listings will be added to the website/magazine at our discretion, and may be edited. Listings will not immediately appear on the website or in the magazine directory. Mslexia's Directory Mslexia's Directory is a nine-page digest of local and national events, venues, groups, courses, grants, competitions, calls for submissions. The Directory, which goes to each of our 20,000 readers, is updated quarterly and published in the magazine at the beginning of January, April, July and October. The deadlines for listings information are 1 December, 1 March, 1 June and 4 September respectively. • Space in the Directory is limited – and the print size is small! To ensure a place in the magazine, and guarantee you are noticed, why not book a proper advertisement in the magazine? • If you're on a tight budget, a classified ad might suit you. • Or you may wish to consider placing a banner ad on our website Mslexia's web listings We list the very latest events, competitions etc on this website (see Don't Miss), and if you have something that happens soon – this is the place to publicise it.
