Visual design

This site uses cascading style sheets for its design and layout, and if your browser does not support stylesheets, the content of each page is still readable. The flexible layout accommodates itself to your browser window and this allows you to resize text (see below) with ease.

Sizing text

The Mslexia website is designed to let you change the text size for readability by using the text size function at the bottom of each page, or below. There are four size options: +1, +2, +3 and RESET (0). You may also change the sizes by using access keys. Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the website.

If you are having no luck changing size, it may be that your browser has its javascript turned off. For full functionality on this site and other websites, it is best to turn it on. Please help me with javascript.

If, however, you do not wish to or cannot turn on javascript, you can change text size using your browser's size controls. On Safari and Mozilla, you can use the keyboard controls CTR with +/- (Windows) or CMD with +/- (Macintosh). For Internet Explorer users, follow the instructions below.

Printing pages from this website

The website has been designed to allow pages to be printed in a simple, printer-friendly layout. Pages won't look like the website, and they exclude images, which don't print very well and use up your ink. Most of the content has been made greyscale.

Printable forms - PDFs

There are a few printable forms on this site, in pdf (portable document format). If you do not have a PDF reader installed, it's a good idea to download and install one. There are also alternatives to this - read the PDF help guide.
